Bridie Rose is our larger shepherd hut and sleeps up to four guests. It is full of rustic charm and handmade features, making it a lovely choice for family holidays, friends or couples wanting a little extra space. There is also a dining table with four chairs, creating a cosy space to enjoy meals together after a day exploring Kington, Pembridge and the surrounding Herefordshire countryside.
For warmth and comfort, Bridie Rose has a wood burner, with logs supplied. A fire alarm and carbon monoxide alarm are also fitted for peace of mind, making it a comfortable choice for glamping holidays throughout the year.
The sleeping area features handmade double-size bunk beds, created from reclaimed timber. Bedding is included, and there is also a bedside table with a drawer and cupboard for storage, making Bridie Rose ideal for short breaks and longer family holidays alike.
The shower room has an electric shower and a vintage-style feel, complete with a stylish bathroom unit, a beautiful reclaimed copper sink and a vintage mirror behind.
Outside Bridie Rose, guests can enjoy a wood-fired hot tub. In summer, many guests use it as a refreshing plunge pool; at other times, full instructions are available on site for heating the water. Wood is available for an extra charge of £50 for unlimited wood.
There is also an outside seating area, an undercover sink and our lovely Hobbit Hut. The Hobbit Hut has a central fire and BBQ area, surrounded by seating with cushions and blankets. Lit with fairy lights, it becomes a magical, sociable space for spending time with friends and loved ones during your shepherds hut holidays.
From the windows of the Hobbit Hut, you can also see the animals outside, which makes it a really special place to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere of Woonton Ash.
